Due to occupancy restrictions and in consideration of all our customers, large groups / hosted parties  of 10+ persons require reservations via contact@silkcitydistillers.com.  Silk City reserves the right to deny service to any groups in violation of this policy, especially during peak hours (Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday afternoons).

 

NO HOSTED PARTIES DURING OPEN HOURS WITHOUT A CONVERSATION WITH US FIRST:

DO YOU ALLOW GROUP PARTY BUSES/VANS/BACHELOR PARTIES:

Party bus/van groups require a reservation.  Please reach out to us at contact@silkcitydistillers.com with any inquiries for more information.

 

DO YOU RENT THE DISTILLERY FOR PRIVATE EVENTS:

We do.  Please visit our EVENTS page for more information.

 

DO YOU ALLOW CHILDREN:

Tiny humans are welcome.   We are a working production distillery and the safety of our guests is a #1 concern.   We ask that children are always accompanied and monitored responsibly.  Feel free to bring iPads or sitting games to keep children occupied.

 

DO YOU SELL FOOD AND/OR ALLOW FOOD TO BE BROUGHT TO THE DISTILLERY:

We do not.  Distilleries in New Jersey are not permitted to have kitchens and/or sell food.  However,  feel free to BYOF (bring your own food) or order in.   Everyone knows Rutt's Hut + Silk City is a fantastic combination.

 

DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE ALCOHOL:

We cannot.  We have a Limited Distillery license granted by the state of New Jersey. Under this license, we are only permitted to serve the spirits we manufacture on-site at our facility.    BYO wine or beer is not permitted under this license.

 

CAN WE ENJOY OUR SILK CITY COCKTAILS NEXT DOOR AT GHOSTHAWK BREWERY / CAN I DRINK MY GHOSTHAWK BEER AT THE SILK CITY DISTILLERY?

Sadly, you cannot enjoy your Silk City cocktails at the Ghosthawk Brewery.  Due to the type of license granted to NJ Distilleries and Breweries the Cocktails from Silk City must stay at Silk City and the Beers from Ghosthawk must stay at Ghosthawk.   Silk City cocktails cannot be enjoyed in the parking lot either.

 

DO YOU ALLOW DOGS:

Unfortunately, we cannot (and we love dogs).  NJ State Admin Code -and- the board of health of Clifton, NJ have certified our distillery as a food and beverage retailer/producer and therefore dogs are not allowed on-site.

 

CAN YOU SHIP TO ME:

No, we cannot. Complex laws prevent our ability to ship at this time.

 

DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO SPONSORSHIPS AND DONATIONS:

WHERE CAN I PARK:

Our side of River Road is street parking for about 1 mile down to the overpass.  We ask that you do not park at Rutt's Hut.

 

ARE YOU CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Yes! We are 0.7 miles from the Delawanna train station. So public transportation is also an option if you don't mind a short walk from the train.
